Safe sleep practices

At all times, Lullabies recommends using safe sleep practices with your baby. Lullabies follow the AAP (American Academy of Paediatrics) and the Lullaby Trust guidelines on Safe Sleep. If Lullabies becomes aware that you are practising unsafe sleep despite advice and guidance, then participation in any Lullabies programme/sleep plans will be discontinued, and access to any materials on the Lullabies platform or paid content on the Lullabies website will be revoked, and no refund will be issued.

Refunds and cancellation

Lullabies delivers both single-session services and group-based programmes or packages. Due to the nature of in-person education, staffing, and venue commitments, different cancellation and refund terms apply depending on the service or sub-brand booked.

Group programmes & packages

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Baby massage courses
  • Nanny training programmes
  • Birth & Beyond / antenatal course series
  • Multi-session packages delivered over a set period

Attendance & missed sessions

  • Bookings for group programmes and packages are made for the full course, not individual sessions.
  • If a client is unable to attend one or more scheduled sessions, refunds or credits are not available for missed classes.
  • Where possible, supporting materials may be provided at Lullabies’ discretion; however, this does not replace live attendance.

Catch-up sessions

  • Catch-up sessions are not included as part of group programmes or packages.
  • If a client wishes to book a 1:1 catch-up session, this will be charged separately at the prevailing private session rate.
  • This policy ensures the time and professional input of session leaders is respected.

Course cancellation by the client

  • Group programmes and packages are non-refundable once the course has commenced.
  • Cancellation prior to the start date may be eligible for a partial refund or credit, at Lullabies’ discretion, and subject to venue and staffing commitments already in place.

Single workshops & stand-alone sessions

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • First aid training
  • In-home parentcraft sessions
  • Private consultations
  • Stand-alone workshops or talks

Cancellation by the client

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be rescheduled once, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend, will be charged in full and are non-refundable.

Rescheduling

  • Where rescheduling is permitted, this must be completed within a reasonable timeframe and is subject to practitioner availability.
  • Repeated rescheduling requests may incur an additional fee.

Cancellation by Lullabies

  • In the unlikely event that Lullabies needs to cancel a session or class, clients will be offered a rescheduled date or a refund for the affected session at Lullabies’ discretion.
  • Lullabies is not responsible for indirect costs incurred by the client (including travel, childcare, or accommodation).

General terms

  • All bookings are confirmed upon payment.
  • By booking a service, clients acknowledge and accept these cancellation and refund terms.
  • These policies are in place to allow Lullabies to deliver high-quality, sustainable services while respecting the time, preparation, and professional commitment of its educators.

We understand that life with babies and families can be unpredictable. These policies exist not to be inflexible, but to ensure fairness for all families and the professionals delivering our sessions.

Travel & location fees

Lullabies offers in-home services within a defined service radius. Travel fees are applied based on distance and estimated travel time from the practitioner’s base and are designed to reflect time, transport, and associated costs. All distances will be calculated from J3 Mall, Al Wasl Road as the nearest landmark.

Travel zones

Zone 1 – Core service area (0–10 km)
Travel is included in the session fee.

Zone 2 – Extended service area (10–20 km)
A travel fee of AED 250 applies.

Zone 3 – Outer service area (20–30 km)
A travel fee of AED 400 applies.

Zone 4 – Long-distance or extended travel
Locations exceeding 30 km, or requiring travel time of more than approximately 75 minutes each way, are offered on a case-by-case basis and may require a bespoke quote or an extended session fee.

Additional notes

  • Travel fees are calculated based on both distance and travel time, not solely kilometres.
  • Travel zones are determined at the time of booking and confirmed prior to the appointment.
  • Peak-time traffic, road closures, or exceptional travel conditions may result in an adjusted travel fee. Where possible, this will be discussed in advance.
  • Travel fees are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.

By confirming a booking, clients acknowledge and accept the applicable travel fee.
